Here's the sequel from the previous post! The time was around 6-8PM during the Bon Odori night. My friend and I have a walk searching for dinner outside the event, and guess what? This is the first time I walk in the Penang street holding a camera, sounds like a pro here!

Hello world! Proudly present to you the Bondori of Penang 2011! Okay, I know it's held on 16th July, and let's take a look of the date now, OHNO! This post is terribly OUTDATED. Well, I really has been quite buzy lately. Stuffed with all the intern stuff..lecturer visits, logbook story making(it's not that hard actually, just get influence by the others. They're writting way toooooo details compare to mine..), and guess what, I even lack of documents by the time my lecturer paying her visits..

Ya..I know I did complain a bit little tiny too much for the intern but still overall is still consider so far so GOOD! Nice social over there, get paid for my hardwork, and super healthy living habits...and the count continues...

Yup, I have been to the Bondori last week and it was my first time being there eventhough I have been in penang for 23 years. Okay, lets cut the craps and take a look of some picture taken that day. Not much picture actually, BLAME THE DSLR-er blocking my tiny compact camera..! Just joking here..No offence!..Looking forward for getting one for myself!! As my birthday present maybe?

Here's the update again! It was a clear and lovely weather that day, a boy had spended his last weekend with his buddy buddies for a hiking in Pantai Kerachut, Penang followed by Penang International Dragon boat event! They travel in 13 peoples in a group. They have a super great time and the Dragon Boat's participant were just amazing! Their strong passion towards the sport and the power of human spirit in overcome difficulties were just unbelievable! And guess what? The boy who spend this great weekend is ME!

Winter solstice, Christmas eve, follow by NEW YEAR 2011! This event is just like an igniter keep on reminding me no more procrastination, no more 'day dreaming' and no more FB cause your BIG DAY is coming real soon. BIG DAYS?? Oh well, it's going to be like my day of marriage, pregnant of my wife, birth of my 1st son or daughter or even the day I awarded with Nobel prize!(Oh my, just ignore this sentence, it's 'hyperbole'). Keep wondering this few days, do you think your identity in workplace will only be appreciate if you have great result compare to your experience or skills in certain field(I mean for fresh-grad). Which means RESULT RULES!? Hmn..(Never mind, it's just some of my random thought). My semester result is releasing real soon and my HEAD is getting bigger and BIGGER! Just hope it going well! Old man babbling..

Finally my header!(chuckle) Well, it takes me few hours to completely touched up my first ever header..silly me. At the beginning I thought is should be an easy task in designing your own header, let's say we assume the entire process should just consume bout 1-3hr? But who knows I end up 4-5hr..gosh

Thinked back, it really is time killing, from simple symbol design follow by picture capturing, editing and assembling and finally the RESULT. It's quiet a work. Well to be honest, I noob to the MAX in camera things, I had capture a total of 26 and there's only one which is nice?! maybe??..lol

Well, for every blogger out there, header design is just a normal things but since this is my first thus should atleast talk a lil bit more? Ok, maybe a short description will do, I promise it'll be short..lol The cute Nestle batman figure is a gift for me from my "kai mui" by the time I was fostered by her parent(It's a Uni programme and it's a must for my graduation). Decided to take a picture of it the first sight I look at it. And now finally the picture is released! It's a rough work, I mean my header of course. Thinked of it may improve the layout of my blog?..lol

Gosh! The weather is flaming! Yesterday was a freaking hot noon as usual just it's a weekend which means no class, no schedule restriction and no date with lecture. Decided to take a bicycle ride with my buddy and do some photo-shooting!(*Secret* It was my 1st outdoor shooting experience in Perlis! Cool!) Wonder how long should I wait for the day where I stand the chance in joining the photography program with all the professional photographer. "But 1st thing 1st, I should get my very own DSLR 1st!"..again $$$ costing..sigh

Along with the ~~waiting~~ dreaming of my DSLR arrival, Let's have a walk with me towards the serenity of Perlis. Shall we?

I try to fix it but it just won't work. It's just like I bought a totally wrong fitted puzzle pieces. They just won't fit! I try to talk to you but you just like keep finding an exit, to escape from me..OK, You win! You did find the exit cause I totally ran out of topic!!

My friend told me "Breaking up is a growing process", you'll face it not once but several times. You have to cope with it especially you're guys..

It's just a week after I get my ass myself back to my "beloved" hostel. And gosh, there's just too much news to share with you all. First, this is the room I get..Great! Picture says a thousand words. Ample enough???? This room is totally "A" class WARM especially at noon..sigh

Second, two three blackout in a week. If my memory serve me well, guessed this is the longest electricity outage from my 1st semester till now.

Now's the third, should be the worst I think-Tornado thunderstorm. Maybe the La Nina issues is true afterall?? Let's have a look on the disaster.

Well, The roof being blown off, luckily I had move to a new block this sem...Not even dare to think of the consequences if I was still there. Sweat!

Ohya, some extra here. Let's think of what you can do if there's occurance of both windy weather and electricity outage simultaneously??? Can't think of it???

I spend most of my past time in water, be with different people, from unknown uncle till my best buddy, my special one and finally my family. Thinked back, this really is one precious moment had to be appreciated. Capturing all those memorable scene to preserve all those innocent smile and wacky actions is always the best way to keep all those memory.

Things can get extreme when it's involve with water:)

But does it possible for me to ignore my clumsiness and even the environment which might threaten the safety of my camera??? Only if my camera is waterproof. My picture can be taken like this! Gosh, my apologize for the lousy edit~

"Kung Fu is to make peace with your enemy"by MR.Han

This movie had been quiet a hot topic recently. Just keep seeing people posting this "God! This movie is damn nice man. You mustn't miss it!" at my Facebook's news feed page. Well, I Just manage to watch it today together with my buddy Bruce, CQ, and FK.

Ahem, overall I would rate it 7.5/10. It's quiet nice actually especially at the tournament scene. The picture of the people "Shouting" in the cinema is still so damn clear in my mind now..lol FK Know well what I meant by the word "Shouting"!..lol

Guess that's all for the "Prologue" of this post:) Let's have a look at it's review!

Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) is a 12-year-old boy living in Detroit when his mother Sherry (Taraji Henson) gets a job in China. Once in China, Dre misses home and wants to go back to the US. His mother tells he must learn to accept his new home. Dre begins to like China when he falls for his classmate Mei Ying (Wenwen Han).

Dre's feelings for Mei Ying however are seen by Cheng (Zhenwei Wang) the class bully who is out to stop it. Cheng puts Dre to the ground with ease using his Kung Fu training. Dre doesn't have a chance using the little karate that he knows, and Cheng proves it the next time he sees Dre. At that time, Dre is getting brutally beaten when Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) the maintenance man came out to stops the fight. Dre persuades Mr. Han to teach him Kung Fu. Due to Dre safety, Han decide to teach him the real kung fu. With this knowledge, Dre must now face down Cheng in a fight to win his respect in a Kung Fu tournament.

At the tournament, the under confident Dre is slow to achieve parity with his opponents, but soon begins to best them and advances to the semifinals. Dre eventually comes up against Master Li's students which his leg is broke by his opponent purposely. However, Han's insistence in gaining respect and conquer his fear towards the bully had finally crowned him the champion of the tournament. Enjoy^^

Isn't she looks great and hot, it's so amazing and stunning. I cant's even take my eyes and hand of her...

Okok..I'am just exaggerating it. She is my 1st DC, what to do..lol! Was so envy about all the blogger out there when seeing them using their camera to capture all the memorable scene to share with the outside world. Some even using DSLR. For noobies like me, DSLR will surely cry for all night long if she having me as her master..lol DSLR is just too much for me. Not only lack of experience but also $$$. DSLR is so far away from me. Finally make up my mind in getting - Canon IXUS 130.

2/6/2010 - A day full of anticipation. Well, there's nothing special actually. Just I going to watch "Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time"(which I had waiting for so long since the 1st time I watch it's trailer), and my semester's result is releasing today!!! Hmn..hmn..have to prepare a brief report on today's activities..lol

Ahem..ahem..

1st - Not bad with my result I think, had to admit I was kinda relieve after seeing my result that time judging from the time I answering my paper..lol

And ohya the rating! Overall I'll gave 7/10 for the movie. Not bad thought^^ It's recommended.

I am not that kind of person who will pulling myself away from "14.1 inch" and went for outing especially during days with special event. It's due to all those traffic jam, full housed coffee shop, movies sold out..this really turn me down..lol

Guessed this year Wesak is an exception for me..lol ohya! Is the first time I realised Wesak's celebration in BM is so grand(Planned to take picture at the beginnning but end up camwhoring wit my buddy..lol)

At first we planned to went for "Cup 'a' tea"(Yamcha). But one of my friend suddenly pop out "I need to get myself KL's bus ticket" and it was URGENT! Thus have to stuck ourself in crazzzy traffic jam that night since the ticket selling point is located at BM's pekan. But luckily thanks to my buddy's Driving skills - "1hr -> 30mins" and of course you have to pay for the "30mins" that you saved includes all the "HONk!", "Stare!", "reluctant kindness frm others driver"..lol But still we manage to get ourself at Station 1 safely..haha

2hrs++ of drinks, chatting and "exaggerated" camwhoring(It's really exaggerated, two phones run out of batt that night..lol). Here's some picture of the night^^

I know it's kinda late to do a review on "Ip Man 2" but let me be be frank with you all. I just watch it today~omg, bet you all can't even guess the number of audience in the cinema. It's just 10+...lol

It's kinda outdated but still have to follow the old tradition. "The review.."

Continuing from where the first film left off, Wing Chun master Ip Man(Donnie Yen) and his family move to Hong Kong in the early 1950's after their escape from the Japanese. Together with his family, Ip Man suffer a lot of financial difficulties such as avoiding the landlord, school fees, etc. However, he tries to open a martial art centre and was allowed to hold his centre on top of a roof. After 9 days of tedious waiting, finally Ip Man get himself his first student Wong Leong(Huang Xiaoming).

Ip had been inform that he must be subjected to a ceremony where he must be challenged by the city's Kung Fu masters. During the ceremony, he defeats his first challengers, and then strikes a draw with the last challenger, Hung Chun-nam(Sammo Hung). Hung is acting as a collector for the other masters and himself as part of a protection racket, headed by Superintendent Wallace, a corrupt officer in the Hong Kong police.

During the boxing competition, Hung accepts Milos a.k.a 'The twister''s challenge to a fight so that he can defend his culture's honour but however due to his sickness he's fatally battered to death. News of Hung's death rapidly spread throughout the enraged Chinese and thus spur wallace to hold a press conference. During the conference, Ip arrive and declare official challenge with 'The twister' for a ring match. During the fight..bla bla..Ok, Ip Man won..lol There's just so much interesting fighting scene..Ohya, young Bruce appear at the end of the scene^^

I'am not a huge badminton fans but seeing everyone talking about 'Thomas, Uber', guessed I'll get myself outdated if keep holding myself in day-dreaming pit stop..lol

A long sigh for todays Thomas's final. Kinda dissapointed especially during the 2nd men's single, 2nd set - 'Simon Santoso vs Chen Jin'. During 2nd set, from 18-->19 for Chen Jin, for anyone out there who watch the LIVE match, you'll surely seen the Chen Jin rackets is already get passed the net(The shot is replayed in slow motion mode), and the Australia region referee still count that ball as '1'. You can see Simon's enthusiasm in winning the 2nd set is faded since he's just 1-2marks behind him(Even Malaysia's host says it's so so obvious). Thinked back, Simon might get himself a game if the referee is being fair enough..who knows...lol

This game going to be more competitive only if his stamina is better. But still I would give my full credit for SIMON SANTOSO!!! Quiet satisfied with his performance. Compliment for him:) *Thumbs up!

p/s: No offence for china's fans out there ya. Just sounds my opinion. Happy day^^

No! No! NO! Not the movie..the photo is just to emphasize MY HOLIDAY! HAHA! should ease myself to the fullest for this holiday. You'll know why very soon. My Uni's final start at 19/4-7/5 and guess when is my last paper - '6/5'. Still remember the time I do my revision for my last subject. Totally is a DEAD CITY!!!(I mean my hostels of course..not the whole Perlis..lol) Nobody's there, just left few pity fellows holding the note til the 2nd las day and Ohya! The warung Makcik + Pakcik goyang kaki watching football...lol Wonder how the candidate who attend the last paper feels...lol

It's another late night movie again. But this times its different. Not in my hometown but in Alor Setar instead..lol As what I mention in my post title 'Alice In Wonderland'. Quiet nice thought. Love most of the character inside. cute! cute! cute!

Here's the short plot or sypnosis Alice in wonderland 2010,

Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn’t remember.

Among those who welcome her back is the Mad Hatter, a part tailor-made for Johnny Depp. by the time Alice back to wonderland, racebeth, the Red Queen, conquered Underland by stealing the ruling crown from her sister Mirana, the White Queen, but Alice destined will slay the Red Queen's guardian, the Jabberwocky, on the Frabjous Day using the Vorpal Sword. And lastly to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.

Among all the character, I like the CAT most! Wanna have a look how it's looks like? Little peek for you all^^(It does looks like rikimaru sometimes..lol)

This post should have been posted two days ago..but I'm just too buzy to post it in time(I HAVE TWO PAPERS TO GO AFTER MY CNY BREAK..sigh) thus, no choice but to write my FIRST expired post...forgive me ya~ Ahem..let's continue the 2nd part of my previous post.."PART 2 - Delicacy"

My buddy planned to start his valentine gift hunting project once finish watching 'The Wolfman'. I want to follow him but.."stomach crying" since I'm his consultant, he has no choice but to say " Go eat la Go eat la.."

After approx 15mins..here we are~

First thing in my mind~RICE! I flip the menu over and over til I found this "Szechuan Seafood Rice"

The actual translate of it's name from chinese should be 'Szechuan Seafood Kungfu Rice' just wonder what their chef wears..shaolin uniform should be more appropriate..lol(Just for laugh gags~)

After few minutes of waiting..here come my yummy yummy~

"KILL HIM! ONSIGHT!"

It was a tired and oven-liked noon when 'Thanks to my buddy' who want to get his 'cute little sweety pretty honey girlfriend' a 2010 valentine's gift , I get a chance to sizzle myself in airconded mall. As his buddy, I decide to accompany him and hired as his consultant in what gift he should buy(I'm not actually consulting, diturbing more..lol) So we reached the Aeon's Jusco at about 3.35pm something and 1st thing we do is 'Let's go get our tickets'.
I plan 2 watch 'wolfman' just like what I post in my previous 'percy' post,(Feel like wanna watch wolfman) This time with a 'NO COMPLAIN' seat I manage to get my tickets with pleasant seat..lol
Let's talk about the plot of the movie before I start my opinion..

The story set in the 1880s where Lawrence Talbot(Benicio Del Toro) is reunited with his weird father(Anthony Hopkins) subsequent to the unusual dissapearance of his brother. Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Lawrence then sets out to track down a thing that's been killing villagers in town and along the way he learns a new side of himself(He's a wolfman..) and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate. He's been accused for all the murder done by the creature when his true identity is founded...

One of the dialogue that I love most is "Once you see Mr. Talbot, KILL HIM ONSIGHT!" You know, most of the movies, even when they saw their MOST WANTED target, the thing they start 1st isn't "Pull the trigger + BANG!", they choose to start the dialogue..talking about the granpa and grandma story, and if unlucky..........the 'wanted guy' run off...lol

But as overall, I would prefer Percy Jackson compare to Wolfman. Just like what I say before(Mr Percy get passed the hardship so easily), This time the MR. Talbot finish the biggest enemy in ONE KICK!..lol

CNY 2010 + Tiger

..prepare myself for a my loud wishes for all people out there~

"HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR + VALENTINE 2010"
(I know it's kind of 'belated' but stil better than none...lol sorry sorry~)

It was the 1st day of CNY after reunion dinner. As usual, meeting relative + collecting angpau + gambling + alcoholic drinks + movie-ing....this is the kind of the trend that I go through every CNY(but just ignore the alcohol things, I CAN'T DRINK MAN!) Ok, time passed by till noon..suddenly phone ringgrrr~ "chenlin let's go for movie tonight, want?"

Everyone knows, 14/2 is the combo of both event. CNY + Valentine..sigh. My gang and I try not to picky towards the movie. But still what we get is "130AM, Percy Jackson"(Fell like wanna watch Wolfman that time..sigh)...Here's briefly about what actually happened in the story..

Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman, Gamer) doesn’t exactly have it all that great in life. Aside from having a loving mother (Catherine Keener), he doesn’t have a lot of friends in school, he suffers from dyslexia, he’s never met his real father, and his obnoxious stepfather (Joe Pantoliano) is as detestable and unloving as they come. Oh, and on top of all that, he just found he’s actually a demigod(Half god half human) being accused of stealing Zeus’ master lightning bolt, the greatest weapon in the entire universe. Now, with the Greek Olympians on the brink of a war that could bear major consequences to the planet Earth, Percy needs to somehow prove his innocence to the Gods; all the while trying to rescue his captured mother, who is being held hostage by the wicked god Hades.

p/s: compare to Narnia or Harry Porter, It'll be not that visually impressive. But still it'll be entertaint enough. Recommended for all the greek's god lover. But one more comment- feel like all the hardship can easily get passed by the main character, MR. Percy ~

The Lovely Bones

It's was the night before I pack up my things and back for my CNY holiday..
Planning not to sleep that night as to celebrate my Uni's CNY holiday eve..lol Think of what to do that night and this suggestion suddenly turn up from my fren.. 'Let's watch 'The lovely bones' together..want?' YES of course...the movie is quiet nice. I decide 2 post it's plot here..

The story is plotted in 1973, Susie Salmon, a 14-year-old girl living in Norristown, Pennsylvania. One day after school, Ray Singh, a boy Susie has had a crush on, approaches Susie at her locker and slips a note into her textbook without her knowing.

As Susie is walking home from school, Ray's note slips out of her book and begins to blow away in the wind. Susie chases after the paper through the cornfield, but it eventually flies away as she runs into her neighbor, George Harvey. He coaxes her into going to check out an underground clubhouse that he says he has built for the children of the neighborhood. Susie becomes increasingly alarmed as Harvey acts strangely and resists her attempts to leave the den. In an attempt to escape, Susie kicks Harvey in the face and runs out of the den back into the field. Susie makes it into town and sees her father, but he does not notice her. Susie instead runs home, but discovers the house eerily empty. She enters the upstairs bathroom to find Harvey soaking in a bathtub. Susie finds her charm bracelet hanging on the sink faucet, near a bloody shaving razor and finally realizes that she has been murdered by Harvey...(The story is kind of abstract...)

Story con't as the investigation and Susie's heaven's life...

p/s: The storyline is interesting thought. Nice scenery and screen playing. Loved it^^

There is just so much to share about the Internet connection of my uni..

Last time I complain about the lousiness of the connection... Now, is my experience with my uni internet browsing... you'll find out that it's so LIMITED...

*story time*

By the time I start to play facebook, I was using my beloved windowsXP. I was so happy that time where facebook offered so many interesting flash games. I login my facebook everyday after class- check my mafia wars status, happy fishbowl, barn buddy...etc

until one day~

I was blocked when I open 'bejeweled blitz' with rated categories 'Games, For KIDS'

The worst coming afterwards...

My uni BLOCK my facebook access!!!! But things going back to normal after few days...with..

My fish DEAD...see my cute little Nemo fish up there..It DIED because of hunger...it's just so pity. cant even live well in unreal world..

Now this is the latest...(ignore about the facebook thing, SOFTWARE time!)

I can received skype call even with my 'limited connectivity'(Red circle area)...things just happened..

"My uni internet connection, It's just make my day sometime~with laugh.."

"Ahem, It's booked my dear..."

I was so Happy by the time I get my new schedule for this new semester. All my classes were just within walking distance. The most is just about 400-5oometres away. I was so annoyed by my uni bus schedule last semester. And now, with the 'Within walking distance'...PROBLEM SOLVED!

(But by the time I went to my class, new PROBLEM appear!)

Can you see what is going on in the picture??? All the 'VIP' seat is BOOKED! At first, I reach my class 15min before the class start, this is what I saw..(blame no one, it's my fault for waking up late)

Now I learn my lesson, The next day I each my class 30mins before my class started..Guess what I saw? IT's THE SAME!!!!! You know where is my seat??? The seat with Yellow circle highlighted..The WORST is they even use 'MIAO MIAO snack to booked the seat~'(see the 'Red circle' there??) headache....

Guess next time I'll have to reach the class an hour before even if it's "walking distance"..

Date: 30/1/2010, Time: 2.00pm, Weather: Hot like hell, Location: kangar, Perlis. Summer haircut saloon. It was the 1st time I put my hair as my bet. I never go for my haircut other than the saloon I trust. This time because of the CNY season, I have no choice but to take the risk...(sound so exaggerated). Once I reach there, first thing I ask:

chenlin: Tauke..How much for doing a front part rebonding har?

Tauke : O...I just raise my price wor..cost you RM30 la...so cheap so cheap..
(I thought I manage to avoid the CNY season price raising..sigh )

chenlin: Like that arr, than ok lo...(I even go to the bank to withdraw my money)

After 30mins....

chenlin: finish liao?

Tauke : Ok~finish..

p/s: I looks a bit like 'Ah kua' after doing the rebonding. But still, Summer is not a bad hair saloon after all.

Here is it..I'm a 120% perfect lazy person in doing something extra in my life especially doing the things other than study(I have no choice since study is a MUST). But why do I open my own blog?? Boring life in Uni?--Nope too much free time?--nope good uni internet conn?--OF COURSE NOT!(The line is lousy~)...
